2016 Pirelli Tire Program
TORONTO, March 22, 2016. Canadian Sport Compact Series (CSCS) and Pirelli Tire Canada are proud to announce a renewed and expanded partnership for 2016.
Continuing to build on the successes of 2015, CSCS and Pirelli will offer an expanded program for 2016.
CSCS would like to welcome Pirelli as the spec tire supplier for the already extremely competitive Super Street and Unlimited Classes.
Bringing Pirelli on as the sole supplier for these classes will further promote competition by allowing teams access to a heavily subsidized tire purchase program and with it a wealth of support from Pirelli and program supplier Steelcase Tires ‘n’ Mags.
Super Street competitors will continue to compete on the flagship Pirelli Trofeo R , proven in 2015 to be an extremely competitive tire in such a heavily contested class.
Unlimited class competitors will hit the track using the extremely popular P Zero Slick, available now in medium and soft compounds for 2016.
Continuing for 2016, Pirelli will be providing all class winning competitors with product prizes for all 5 events.
Tires will be supplied exclusively by Steelcase Tires ‘n’ Mags who will offer Pirelli Product and service at the track for all CSCS Time Attack entrants. Competitors will need to apply for a competition program number through the CSCS website in the coming weeks before purchasing.
